Responsible for the daily support of the accounting, administrative and project management departments at Tandem Construction's corporate office. 

Job Summary: 

Tandem Construction is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant. This role will support multiple departments at the corporate office. The Administrative Assistant will work with the Accounting Staff, the Field Staff, the Marketing Staff, the Estimating Staff and the Corporate Executives. The Administrative Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answering telephones
  • Open and distribute incoming mail
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Prepare payments to Subcontractors and Vendors
  • Update & monitor Subcontractor requirements compliance
  • Communicate with Subcontractors
  • Assist other departments with additional daily tasks
Education/Experience: 

An experienced construction professional who has recently served in the capacity of project accountant or project administrator for other commercial construction firms. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the commercial construction business concepts, practices, and procedures.

You must meet the following minimum criteria to apply for this position:

  • 2-5 Years previous office experience
  • Communication, Multi-Tasking, Time Management and Organizational Skills
  • A valid Driver’s License in good standing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 2013 or later Software:
    • Outlook
    • Word
    • Excel

Software Used: Microsoft Office, Sage/Timberline
